Sie sind Lebensbegleiter für jeden Tag und Anlass, beim Arbeiten, Ausgehen, Einkaufen, Bummeln oder Muttersein. Bild anzeigenLogan - white cubes, Halle 2, Stand B51: The Logan philosophy promises luxurious ease: It is perfect for daily use, easy to combine, balanced in terms of cut, shape and heel, manually produced, very fashionable, at the same time being femininely simple and plain as well as simultaneously unique thanks to striking details – this is what distinguishes Dossobuono’s high-quality women’s shoe line from Italy. Since the 2009 Spring/Summer collection this young Logan Crossing collection has been included in the portfolio. Classical sports style elements are urbanised here and sent out onto the streets. The look is wonderfully witty and also a bit ironically tapered.

GDS is very well structured. Here every buyer has the opportunity to “personalise” their ranges. This is helped tremendously by the segmentation of halls and the good assortment into quality genres. For our medium-priced range we discovered a new supplier from Italy today. Our fashion favourites for the coming season are boots with half-height legs and sturdier heels.

I have been coming to GDS since 1972 – the trade fair is a must for me. Our long-established store serves demanding yet very normal women who want something new and wearable and I found it here: presenting a very good translation of trends are the collections featuring commercially toned-down biker boots and overknees with soft, gathered legs – very wearable for our customerbase. What I like about the trade fair in general is the successful arrangement by target groups. You no longer walk your legs off!

In times of a faltering economy we have to try especially hard to offer our shoppers what they have not got yet. Here, in a pleasant atmosphere, we find fashionable shoes that are both wearable and saleable. The prevailing mood is positive and we like the ranges on show: we focus on boots, boots, boots …Metex Corporation, Japan

Business is bad throughout the world. Many companies allow themselves to be paralysed by this but we are energised by this trough: GDS is and will remain one of the most important trade fairs for our firm. As an importer and wholesaler I chiefly source prime brands and comfort shoes for the Japanese market and have just found something new again.

GDS serves as a key source of information and is pleasantly easy to get to for us. What strikes us is that the German brands have become delightfully fashionable – they now offer more fashion with the proven good quality plus great value for money. For our medium-priced women’s shoe range we really “struck it rich” especially in Halls 5 and 6.Adri Bax, Netherlands

We attend every trade fair here. GDS provides us with the comprehensive overview of the international, commercial ranges. Of particular importance for our business is the wide choice of comfort shoes.

I am after medium-priced men’s shoes and very happy with the GDS ranges: here I gather information, find trends, international brands and a young style. I have ordered some samples here, the final orders will be placed after seeing the choice in Madrid.

I travel to Düsseldorf for men’s shoes. They are among the smaller segments for our textile chainstore with 12 outlets. The GDS dates round off the order season. I used the visit to check whether the image is right – and it is!Buyers' statements
