Feiyue
Flying Forward
The first Feiyue shoes hit the streets of their hometown of Shanghai in 1920. Originally designed for sporting purposes they went from being pure performance shoes to becoming democratic sneakers for the people, carrying them in their thousands throughout China.
A few years ago French globetrotter Patrice Bastian discovered these lightweight shoes and brought them back to France to be tailored for the European market: today aesthetics and durability are the guiding principles and while the shape and quality of materials were significantly enhanced Feiyue has lost none of its authentic vintage charm. >>> Feiyue

New, Unusual and Successful
Newcomer Restaurants in Düsseldorf
For local Düsseldorf residents in search of the latest gourmet restaurant the Old Town is not generally the first stop. Yet this is exactly where they would find Parlin – a linguistic and culinary blend of Paris and Berlin. For several months now owner Beata Heusner has been serving creative classic cuisine and corresponding wines here under the huge stucco ceiling at this establishment. So successfully in fact that it is highly recommended you book.
Close to the exhibition centre is another newcomer on the Düsseldorf dining scene: a classy Vietnamese designer snack bar – to sum up the culinary concept at "Cho". Classic Vietnamese cuisine uses only fresh ingredients and is also good value for money. Those wishing to eat on the premises can take a seat on one of the twelve oversized stools grouped around the one table at this establishment. A place for people who like to experiment.
