Mediterranean Look from the Netherlands
The Netherlands-based shoe label Maluo from Eemnes specialises in trendy sandals with a Mediterranean flair. Styles are available for every occasion and for any time of day: "Maluos are right for work, beach, city and party," according to the company. The fit is soft and comfortable; smooth and suede leathers are used. As of late the collection also includes boots and half shoes in basic colours.
Suggested retail prices range from 50 to 90 euros for sandals and 110 to 240 euros for closed styles.

Tradition Plus Zeitgeist
The Italian shoe company Berg SRL, located in Desenzano del Garda, has been manufacturing women's and men's shoes since 1967. Here, tradition meets contemporary design. Materials and accessories are carefully selected and the shoes are manufactured in Italy. Berg shoes are distributed internationally and sold in Berg boutiques in Milan, Verona and Moscow.

The Italian company Miriade is expert in the manufacture and sales of high-quality accessories. Shoes, bags and leather goods are produced here under license. Among the prestigious labels with unmistakable signatures are Rocco Barocco, RB, Valentino di Mario Valentino, Krizia Poi and Lancetti. The proprietary label Kuvé, which presents itself as youthful, playful and silly-glamorous, rounds out the assortment.

Additional benefits include strengthening of the muscles and posture improvement.
Although Swiss Line calls the concept "Intelligent Footwear", they are keen not to be associated with orthopaedic shoes. According to the company, the styles are extraordinary, revolutionary, innovative and exceptionally attractive. The target group is also clearly characterised: intelligent, successful and well funded.

The Belgian women's shoe label Noë offers shoes "for all women at any age" and is a subsidiary of the shoe manufacturer Bloom Factory, located in Sint Martens Lennik. The style of the collection is feminine, glamorous and colourful. The company specialises in pumps, which are offered in 85 colours. They are made of leather and the prices, according to company statements, are "attractive".
