Featuring Guest Star and EasyTone Test Action

Reebok will be celebrating a premiere at GDS. Launching its innovative EasyTone Technology where air pads in the insoles of the shoe selectively activate the muscles with each step, the sports label wants to “reintroduce fun to fitness studios” and become the No. 1 fitness brand,” says Marketing Director Jeremy Bauer. Fun at the fair is guaranteed by the Reefresh Lounge right next to the presentation area: cosy seating and refreshing drinks and snacks invite visitors to while away their time and exchange information and those wanting to experience EasyTone trainers hands-on, so to speak, are welcome to join in the test action. Here toning shoes will be on loan for five minutes during a stand-up talk in the Lounge or for two hours to walk the fair grounds.

Furthermore, from 2.30 pm on Friday, 10 September model Miriam Höller will be visiting the Reefresh Lounge – this finalist in "Germany’s Next Topmodel 2010" TV show is the official face for Reebok’s toning campaign for the 2010 Autumn/Winter collection. (Hall 03 / E69)

In response to the great demand there will also be a kids trends lecture for the 2011 Spring/Summer season on Saturday, 11 September, at 12.00 noon.

The sustainability theme and the creative use of organic materials will be centre stage in the lecture "Eco and Fair Trade Developments in Footwear" held on Friday, 10 September at 3.00 pm.

The only seminar not free of charge "Join the early bird" allows visitors to look even further ahead in time. Here Nicoline will provide an overview of the trends for the 2011/2012 Autumn/Winter season on Friday, 10 September at 4.30 pm.

All aforementioned talks will be given in German and English.

Held only in English will be the Designers Networking Drink on Friday, 10 September 2010 from 5.30 pm. Following the Japanese pecha kucha presentation technique Nicoline will discuss with her guests the question: "What can we learn from ethical and historical footwear?".
