The Right Level Every Time

Changing the heels on Tanya Heath shoes is a matter of just one simple click. Three looks in two different heights offer the right style for every occasion.

Wearers of Tanya Heath shoes can vary the heel height on their shoes entirely according to mood, occasion, form and time of the day. At the touch of a button the heels can simply be slid off and replaced: from a 9 cm block heel for the office you can switch to a city and car-friendly 4.5 cm and then back up to an elegant 9 cm stiletto. The heels are easy to store in your handbag, they fit onto every shoe and come in both plain and richly adorned versions. Individuality virtually knows no bounds: an easy basic style can be transformed into a glamorous eye-catcher at just a touch of a button.

By company accounts, it took two and a half years to perfect the ideal curve for the sole and development involved 14 engineers, three designers and two highly qualified shoemakers. All shoes are hand made by made by skilled craftsmen at workshops Paris using only the finest leather.

Born in Canada designer Tanya Heath lives in Paris, loves travelling and feels at home in a wide variety of different cultures. For Autumn/Winter 2012 she draws her inspiration from the sculptures of the Haida and Inuit tribes of Canada’s north-west. Highlights here include heels featuring totem-inspired painting. Simple native moccasins are also glamorously translated with a modern-day slant. Coloured beads and little charms in wood, stone and bone serve as details here. For evening wear animal skin trims and feathers adorn the styles. Alongside neutral colours strong Nordic tones like midnight blue, blood red and terracotta orange play a key role. Glitter symbolises the glint of delicate rays of sunlight on fresh snow.
