More Sneakers for urban nomads
Urban Nomads is a sneaker brand that comes care of designer Michael Michalsky. The 2012 Autumn/Winter range is to be extended to include the Urban Nomad II and Urban Nomad III styles.
The URBAN NOMAD II & III collection is the prosperous continuation of Michael Michalsky’s premium sneaker range URBAN NOMADS. The new contemporary and refined generation of URBAN NOMADS sneakers will be released for fall/winter 2012. The line has been significantly extended and offers now, besides the two adapted high top versions, a mid and a low version of the former favorite.
The URBAN NOMAD II is inspired by skateboarding shoe design, modern and sharp. It comes in a high and a mid version which combine sportswear aesthetic with classical features.
In contrast, the URBAN NOMAD III is a contemporary classic, less sporty and more discrete in its design approach. It features a high and a low version and adds a twist of casualness to every outfit.
The spectrum of colors ranges from winter shades like black, brown, dark navy, and grey to colorful touches like amethyst, powder and coral. The smooth and subtle shape of the shoe is underlined by using contrasting textures and two-tone colors assorted together.
In addition, an adapted winter version finds its place among the URBAN NOMAD family. Made out of luxurious shearling it comes in beautiful naturals and is the key item for enduring strong winters. Within the exclusive collaboration with the German luxury brand MCM, all four models will be available in various shades: Keeping the iconic color ways cognac and white, adding seasonal tints like dark navy, amethyst and coffee.
Likewise the prior URBAN NOMAD collection all styles are handcrafted in Italy, made of the finest calf and suede leathers and equipped with a high quality rubber-sole.
Michael Michalsky’s most important source of inspiration is music. His second great passion is photography. Since May 2005, in his role as Creative Director, Michael Michalsky has also been responsible for the re-launch of the luxury handbag manufacturer MCM. In the summer of 2009, Michalsky founded the MICHALSKY designLab. Here, under the guidance of Michalsky, designers from different areas of specialism fulfil design contracts for other companies.
