Pieces of Gold for Children's Feet
Zecchino d'Oro means piece of gold, and each shoe is treated just like a small masterpiece in the Italian shoe factory of the same name. First-class materials and the hand-welted ideal sole fashioning ensure exquisite quality. The anatomically shaped innersole of soft calfskin additionally guarantees extraordinary comfort. The shoes are available in vegetable-tanned leather upon request.
The look is elegant and sporty for Spring/Summer 2011. Leather and patent leather is used in many soft, bold, cool and warm colours. Gold and silver play the leading roles in sneakers. Floral imprints and colourful leo-prints serve as patterns. Ballerinas are decorated with lace and fringes. Sandals and unisex desert boots are available with natural crepe, rubber or leather soles.

Shoemaker Pasquale Bisconti began with the production of the first styles in 1960 in a small workshop in Monte San Giusto, located in the Marche region. Today his daughter, Cinzia Bisconti, managed the company. The leather is stamped and cut in the company's own facility, and sewn together at home.
Back in the facility the shoe receives its finishing touches. Suggested retail prices range from approximately 75 to 109 euros. There are styles for toddlers, kids and teens, ranging from size 18 to 40. The shoes are manufactured to order, so that subsequent deliveries are possible at short notice. Distribution in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is being handled by the Ingrid Cerulla agency in Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock.
