A Trivial Success Formula
The high-quality Spanish women’s shoe label Vialis was established by Jaime Serramalera in Barcelona in 1996. His basic idea: “It sounds trivial but I want people to fall in love with our shoes.” The debut collection consisted of four sandal styles and back then everything from design to packaging was taken care of by Serramalera himself.
Today, he has a team and the product portfolio includes footwear for all occasions – including the sneaker line Aro.
When creating new styles the designer thinks from the female wearer’s perspective, her life, daily routine, her wishes and needs. Only vegetable tanned leathers are used. Vialis supplies approx. 500 customers in 30 countries around the globe and operates its own stores in Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Paris and Berlin.
