Have a Nice Day
“Have a nice day” is the slogan of the Spanish label Gioseppo from Elche. Since 1990 young fashion footwear and kids’ shoes have been produced here. Gioseppo styles feed on colour, their shapes looking clear-cut and simple most of the time. Lasts are comfortable boasting a perfect fit, says the company.
The design for Spring/Summer 2011 is prominently influenced by flower-power, romanticism and vintage looks. Favoured materials, shapes and details include softly shaded leathers with an antique look and feel, soft lines, soles with wooden textures, subtle stitching, animal or graphic prints, pretty fringes and immaculately tied bows. In denim styles generously rounded lasts provide plenty of room for toes. A Mediterranean touch is added by wickerwork-look soles while rivets and metal edges make for an urban compensation. New items for Gioseppo are jelly shoes – cheerful beachwear styles in plastic.
