Floating through the Streets

“Be it on high heels or flats: I want women to happily “float” in my shoes through the busy streets of Sao Paulo, dance into the small hours of the morning at New York clubs or enjoy sightseeing in Madrid,” says the young shoe designer Luiza Perea. For her not only design but also fit and ultimate wear comfort play a key role.

The Brazilian premium label of the same name is a newcomer at GDS. Its collection for Spring/Summer 2010 features court shoes, peep-toes, flat sandals, booties and boots. Genuine salmon leather, soft tilapia leather, shimmering goatskin and patent leather are used. Key here are wooden heels and playful cotton strap details.

All Luiza Perea styles are hand-made at a small shoe workshop in Sao Paulo. Recommended retail prices run between EUR 250 and EUR 410. Sales in Europe are in the hands of the pdb-piadobrasil agency headquartered in Nuremberg.
