Portugals star desginer Miguel Vieira is looking after the stand himself for the three days. Apart from shoes he is designing clothes, sunglasses and jewelry for 23 years. He is amused about the feedback he got for his colourful and wide ranged shoe collection. His shoes stand out of his fashion line where he mainly uses black and white.

Miguel Vireira already showed his shoe collection in the Upper Style Show on the GDS and also does shows in New York, Paris, Brazil and Portugal. “I was very happy about the brilliant feedback from the press and the good location”, says Vireira, “especially all the orders we got signed makes me very pleased.”

The innovative shoe label Halmanera showed its new collection in the White Cubes area. Here we see a model made of laminated calf leather. Francesco Catalfo who presents the label from Marche in Germany says: “The visitors were very interested, but even an excellent designed collection needs a few years to be accepted.

Pierced calf leather is trend for Halmanera. In the White Cubes area 150 international design labels and progressive high fashion labels show their collections to invited VIP-guests in an exclusive atmosphere.

The marketing leader of Clarks Susana Fernandes feels very good about this year’s GDS: „We celebrated three premiers – a stand in a new look, an own fashion show and our representative Cassandra Steen. The quality of visitors was very good and the most important international clients had a look at the collection.”

Clarks ist für Komfortschuhe bekannt und überraschte auf der GDS mit einer trendigen Kollektion. Man sieht, dass die Schuhe wieder sehr britisch anmuten. Sowohl für Damen als auch für Herren wurden sehr modische Modelle gezeigt und geordert – dazu Taschen und auch Kidsshoes.

Business member Achim Tischer was happy about the 140 shoe models for the summer which he presented at the GDS fair. “We got a good feedback for our summer collection, it was even better than last year”, says Tischer.

Tamaris sales as well as the summer collection the current collection. The stand was happy to welcome a lot of people in the 3 days. A lot of traders were mainly interested in the new and innovative models out of the assortment which Tamaris presented.

Bugatti presented three different areas and also focused on bags. “The atmosphere at the stand was brilliant and the customer were amused”, say Heike Scheiffele (merchandising). In this picture you see the marketing assistant Madeleine Germann with a model from the new collection.

Bugatti produces complete fashion collections. Especially the womens collection shows a wide range of modern designs. The men collection shows denim and city shoes.

Especially the details from the Bugatti bags and accessorizes stand out, even the insides of the bags for men and women are really detailed. The colours are discreet and elegant.
