26th Sale Assistant Day
Elisabeth Jall reveals her “Success theory”
“Humans actually don’t need shoes”, says personal coach Elisabeth Jall. “That is why you should give your customer the feeling, that they just need exactly that pair of shoes you offer.” In her speech at the 26th Sales Assistance Day she explains how that works in her “Success Theory: Selling fashion means fulfilling needs and desires.”
Firstly the traders get the chance to see the trends of the upcoming season. Women shoes will follow the slogan “Future Modern” with architectural inspired shoes in crystal colours and glittery topcoats, “Barbie Doll” in creamy neon colours, “Gardening and Farm Romance” with flower applications and natural materials. Another theme is “Virtuality” which combines colour blocking within one range of colours. Men shoes remind on campus fashion and inspire with oriental looks. Kids will wear romantic shoes in different brown shades.
Elisabeth Jall recommends offering customer bright coloured shoes, just like green or yellow and make them feel free to combine whatever they like. The window decoration should also be filled with creativity: “The gardening trend is a good opportunity to set up baskets and bamboo in the windows.” Even coloured scarves make a lovely item in shop windows. The most important thing for a salesman is to be self confident says Jall and hands out self tests. “We can just convince our customer with things that entertain ourselves and things we are living for.”
