The Fall Winter 2012/13 is more particularly inspired by the sculptures of the Haida and Inuit people of North Western Canada. As a particular tribute to their artistic tradition Tanya Heath Paris will be featuring a new high removable heel that is in the form of a soaring totem pole.
Styles will be glamorized and sophisticated renditions of muck lucks, moccasins and other soft souled shoes and boots worn by Canadian First People. Details will come from colored beads and tiny amulets made of wood, stone and bone. The evening shoes will feature fur trim and feathers.
Like the summer collection color will continue to be neutrals, but Tanya Heath Paris will also add colors from the northern pallet including midnight blue, blood red and burnt orange. We will also feature glitter to evoke the sparkle of sunlight on a fresh snow..
