W leather products are the result of a lifelong passion for beautiful leathers and expert craftsmanship: a perfectly natural combination of talents which the Italian designer, Gianni Segatta, has evolved from his childhood days spent in his hometown boot maker's near Venice. Following art college, and several years in Milan where he drew much inspiration from the artistic fever of the 1970's, Gianni turned his talent to the creation of exclusive made-to-measure leather bags for well-heeled Venetians. Years later, each design of the W Collection starts life in the same time-honoured way, from a traditional leather atelier in the heart of the perfectly natural Veneto countryside, where Gianni applies the same devotion to each exclusive design, to each naturally treated leather, and to each precious traditional technique.

The authentic appeal and easy functionality of W's leather accessories is evidence of the Italian designer's gift for creating unique items, which do not so much accessorize, as adorn.
