Fashion bloggers detect tomorrow’s trends and present them to a fashion-focused audience. Be it garments, accessories or shoes – blogs cover whatever appeals. Where could influencers be better placed than at the international renowned Global Destination for Shoes and Accessories in Düsseldorf?

This is where they can explore the latest fashion highlights for the next season. After the resounding success enjoyed by the comprehensive influencer concept involving the FashionBloggerCafé shoedition, Social Media Consulting and a big BloggerRunwayshow over the past five seasons, the online magazine styleranking and GDS are now continuing their cooperation. In February 2017 styleranking will again present two influencers who will be scouting the latest trends at the shoes and accessories trade show in Düsseldorf. They will share the highlights and strongest impressions from the trade show in a takeover of the GDS account on the currently most fashionable social medium: Instagram! And the GDS Trend Detectors for February 2017 are:

Personality & Aesthetics: Jacqueline Isabelle

Jacqueline Isabelle blogs on her Website about what she loves: fashion. After completing her Master’s she now operates her blog full-time also reporting daily on such lifestyle themes as beauty and travel. She designs her Instagram account in a minimalist way – as a mixture of hip looks, artful snapshots and interior posts. And all of this comes with her very personal signature design. The personal touch of her work has paid off: over 21,000 followers check out her lifestyle on Instagram daily. Her feel for zeitgeist and aesthetics make her a perfect GDS Trend Detector!


Minimalist & Creative - Miriam alias Goldencherry

As Goldencherry Miriam primarily covers fashion themes in her blog. Since 2013 she has a possibility here to live out her creativity and tell her readers stories about the beautiful things in life. Her style is minimalist and clean; and always authentic. On Goldencherry you will also find food posts and travel reports that whisk off Miriam’s readers to the most various destinations on earth. In February 2017 she will take her readers and her over 33,000 Instagram followers along on a tour to GDS and will be looking out for the latest fashion hypes and must-haves on the shoe and accessories scene.

From 7 to 9 February 2017 the two bloggers will cooperate to run the Instagram account of the Global Destination for Shoes and Accessories on all three trade show days – always hot on the tracks of the latest trends.

Pooled Influencer Power at GDS

The first day of the trade show will see the two bloggers supported by eight additional influencer colleagues. Four fashion bloggers will be on the look-out for all things new in the shoes and accessories world to then share these on their own channels. Two male bloggers will be on a quest for the latest trends in men’s fashion while two parent bloggers will be focusing on the biggest highlights at the trade show for the smallest among us. On 7 February 2017 GDS will be ‘scoured’ by ten fashion bloggers in total. No exhibitors, no shoes and no accessories will remain ‘unturned’ here!
